  • Is collection free?

    YES collection is free of charge. We will arrange collection of your bike as soon as possible after a price is agreed for your bike.

  • What are your condition definitions?

    Immaculate: 

    -Everything looks and works as new

    -No marks, damage or scratches

    -No rust or corrosion

    -Minimal to no wear and tear

    -All keys present and in working order 

    -Brakes, chain/sprockets, and 

    suspension are all in excellent condition,

    along with the overall mechanics.

    -No signs of the bike being dropped/

    damaged

    -Full service history 

    -Tyres are in new to excellent condition


    Above Average:

    -Full service history 

    -All keys present and in working order 

    -No marks, damage or scratches

    -No rust or corrosion

    -Brakes, chain/sprockets, and suspension are all in good condition, along with the overall mechanics.

    -Tyres are in very good condition

    -No signs of the bike being dropped/ damaged

    -Minimal wear and tear


    Average:

    -Age related marks/scratches 

    -No major signs of damage

    -Partial to full service history

    -Fair wear and tear

    -All keys present and in working order 

    -Brakes, chain/sprockets, suspension, and all mechanical components are in fair condition.

    -Tyres are in good to fair condition


    Poor:

    -Any bike that has been dropped, is damaged, or has known faults. 

    -Bikes that require mechanical or cosmetic repairs. 


  • What happens if I have inaccurately described my bike?

    The valuation you receive is only as accurate as the information you provide us. On collection, we will carry out a detailed inspection and may require a test ride. If you have not accurately described your motorcycle, then we may need to revise our valuation based on its true condition or rescind our quoted offer. In this instance, we reserve the right to charge a fee payable to cover the costs we have incurred.

  • Do you buy bikes with no V5 registration document?

    No, we do not buy bikes without an original V5 registration document in your name. If your V5 has been lost, stolen,damaged or destroyed, you can apply for a replacment log book at www.gov.uk/vehicle-log-book

  • Are there any hidden fees or charges?

    NO, at wepaymore4bikes.com we want to be as honest and transparent as possible. There are no hidden fees or charges when dealing with us, unlike other companies.

  • Do you buy bikes with outstanding finance?

    YES, we will buy bikes that have outstanding finance. If your bike is worth more than the outstanding finance, then we will pay off the outstanding amount and pay the remainder to you.

    If your bike is worth less than the outstanding amount of finance, then we will pay off the outstanding amount and then ask you to pay us the difference between the settlement amount and the bike value.

  • Do you buy bikes without an MOT?

    YES we do however having no MOT can affect the valuation of your motorbike.

  • Do I need to be present when my motorcycle is collected?

    NO, but we will require a letter of authorisation from the owner (registered keeper) along with their driving licence. We will only pay funds to an account in the same name as the owner (registered keeper).

  • Can I deliver my motorcycle to you?

    YES, we can arrange a suitable appointment for delivery of your motorcycle however the person delivering the bike must have proof of ID (must match the registered keeper) and proof of ownership of the motorcycle.

  • How and when will I receive payment?

    Payment will be made instantly and securely on collection before we leave with your bike. There are no fees from us when receiving your payment.

  • What if my bike has a private registration?

    We are happy to purchase bikes with private registrations, however we will not offer more if your bike has one. If you would prefer to keep your private registration, it is your responsibility to arrange this prior to selling the bike to us. The DVLA will issue a new registration to the bike and provide you with a retention certificate for the private registration.

  • Can I sell you a write off?

    NO, unfortunately we do not buy category A,B,C,D,S or N bikes. If you are unsure please contact our helpful team to discuss this further.

  • Will you buy an import?

    YES, however the bike must be UK registered, all import fees and taxes must be paid and the bike must have appropriate documentation and history.

  • Can I sell a vehicle on behalf of a friend or relative?

    Of course, but we will require an authorisation letter and a copy of the driving licence from the owner (registered keeper) and we will only transfer funds into an account in the same name as the owner (registered keeper).  

  • How long is my valuation valid for?

    Our valuations are valid for 72 hours. There are multiple factors that contribute to a motorcycles value some of which change daily. If you would like longer than 72 hours to decide, please let us know and we can re-value your bike after this time.
